Netflix Chooses Spot-On Performer for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment
The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, although the major clash won’t unfold until the next season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has recently been selected.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Bentham. This character has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a interpretation of that role reimagined as non-binary, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action series, as in the initial comic and cartoon version.
The new cast member is joined by several other fresh additions who will portray the organization to life, such as leader Sir Crocodile, portrayed by the well-known actor, a talented actress as another operative, and a familiar face, who will appear as the ensemble as the ruler of Alabasta.
Even though Bon Clay is a key figure of the group, the individual won’t appear until One Piece the upcoming installment. With the second season likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this signals a significant shift in the placement of their first appearance, one that could suggest additional alterations to the narrative framework.
Escola’s blend of precise humor and emotional depth makes them a standout choice for the part. In addition to their current animated role in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for creating and performing in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, showcasing the range they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded figures.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece series is scheduled to come back for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
