Intensive Moscow's Attacks Cut Power In Kyiv

Energy infrastructure under attack in the region
The country's power facilities have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to blackouts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were hurt while residents in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and faced problems to drinking water, according to city officials.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a distinct assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to exert influence on Moscow.

"What's needed is not window dressing but decisive action - from the US, European nations and the G7 - in providing air defence systems and applying sanctions," he wrote in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty projectiles targeted energy facilities, describing such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were laboring to restore power.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and civilian homes in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the attacks on the city have been taken to hospital, per statements from municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region endured intense attacks overnight. A young boy died and three other people were hurt.

The strikes come after evenings of air raids in the area, parts of which are occupied by Moscow's military.

The entire country is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to identify.

National leaders told reporters that Russia was deliberately attempting to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already impacting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and authorities were anticipating additional strikes.
