Actor Rejects Anti-Vaxxer Stance After Voicing Controversial Covid Documentary

The "Taken" star has given his narration to a recent film that questions the efficacy of vaccines and praises former government figure Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Documentary's Disputed Origins

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is adapted from a bestselling book written by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the global outbreak for assertions that the virus was linked to a problematic version of the influenza shot.

The publication's co-author, a producer, has also written books with conspiracy-prone radio host the Infowars host. He recently posted celebrating Neeson's role in the documentary.

An Unequivocal Denial

A spokesperson for the actor have released a comment firmly refuting implications that he subscribes to anti-vax views.

"Many recognize that unethical practices can exist within the drug industry, but that should never be conflated with rejection of vaccines," the response reads. "Neeson never has been, and is not, anti-vax. His long work with the UN children's agency reinforces his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The response noted that the actor did not shape the project's editorial content and that inquiries about its assertions ought to go to the creators.

Central Themes Featured in the Film

According to the documentary, the voiceover spoken by Neeson makes several strong points:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have insisted on "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "research has become highly politicized."
  • Kennedy is interviewed stating, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • The narration also criticizes stay-at-home orders, saying they caused severe distress that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it cites a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Previous Background and Ongoing Debates

The film includes a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was subsequently the topic of a formal apology by the broadcaster for editorial breaches.

In recent weeks, the political figure directed the national health agency to change its official position that there is no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is also referenced in the documentary, even with a recent study from the global health body reiterating no connection has been found.

A Previous Statement of Advocacy

Differing from the documentary's message, Neeson has in the past shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he described vaccines as "an incredible achievement," stating that "The discourse about vaccines in lately has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in our history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This marks not the end of our journey. It is the beginning of a fresh chapter."
